Growing Lettuce

My friend is growing lettuce. I was over for dinner and to get 1/2 of our first lot from the CSA (Community Shared Agriculture) Farm that we are trying out this year. We got lettuce, cabbage and rhubarb!

There's a new yarn store in town so I had to check it out:)

And then, since I was downtown already, I went to the quilt store.

Now I just need to find time to work on all my projects!

WWKiP 2009

Had great weather for World Wide Knit in Public Day! Got some knitting done and bought some alpaca from the local alpaca farm at the Farmers' Market.

Earlier in the week I made this cosy for my repaired camera.

Finished these socks which I have been working on for a while.

I haven't had a chance to post this yet. This is the quilt that the staff where I work made during our retreat. We thought of words that were important to us and they wrote them on pieces of fabric which I then pieced together and made this great quilt!

A little high for spending all day in! But they are so pretty:)
