I am taking a photography class this week. I took this near Eau Claire Gorge.

What to do when your coworker has knee surgery?

When you find out the stitches look like eyelashes and you know she is paranoid about writing with pen on skin - come up with $20 so she will let you draw a happy face on her knee!
Later that day after the stitches came out, we had a dead happy face. Although some were trying to convince me that it was just an eye lift - I know it was dead! (And the money went to the student food bank.)

Canada Day

Chairs and a Shawl

If you are going to get chairs, they might as well be hot pink!

This shawl did not turn out really well. I should have realized earlier that it wasn't wide enough. I think that it will be okay as a kind of scarf instead. My first shawl(ish) and I have a better idea of what to do next.

Dissected Frog

I love craft trading. I made a quilted bag - same pattern as this one with one different fabric and the scraps used differently. In return my friend knitted me a dissected frog! How exciting!! The design is by CraftyHedgehog. I still need to get him mounted and I think that I will hang him in my office.
