Socktopus
This is the reason to learn to knit. This was made for me by my friend Joy. (Joy also made me my dissected frog.) I definitely need to find more time to knit. (And she says sheepishly, blog.)

New Encyclopedia Set!
Well new to me, it is called "Above and Beyond: The Encyclopedia of Aviation and Space Sciences" 14 volumes from 1968. There are awesome pictures in. You have to be careful of these things when working in a library and dealing with discards but I couldn't resist giving this a home.
