Scarf

I'm going to a big yarn sale tomorrow and didn't feel that it would be appropriate to go wearing a store bought scarf. So, I finally got one done. It's not terribly exciting but I like it and it is classic and goes with one of my coats. Tonight I am going to see the play "Apple" by Vern Thiessen.

A finished sweater!

So here is my finished sweater that I may actually may wear in public. I think that it turned out pretty well. I may not make another sweater. Still working on the new camera too. The colours are very different in these 2 pictures. And I'm having a little problem with the flash as it likes to stick, but I can fix it manually. I ordered a book on using this particular camera and hope it arrives soon!

Pond Hockey

This last weekend there was a pond hockey tournament on the pond where I work. I think at least some of the weekend was good weather. Thanks for the newly created holiday for a long weekend in February!

The Moon in Daylight

I love having a better zoom! It was a beautiful sunny day today and I love it when the moon is out during the day. Or to be more scientific, I love the moon when it's rotation around the earth allows it to be seen during daylight. It was -25 with the wind chill, but I was out of the wind when I took this and it didn't seem that cold. When I went around the corner, it definitely was colder.
