8-9 June 1989 - Locarno

8 June - we drove from Florence to Locarno which is on the Lake Maggiore.
9 June - was a rest day we went swimming in the Lake which was very, very cold!  But we did get to swim with swans.

 

7 June 1989 - Florence

Saw the Palazzo Vecchio, Medici Chapel, went inside the Baptistry and visited the Cathedral Museum.

6 June 1989 - Florence

Today we went to the Uffizi!

5 June 1989 - Florence

Today we walked around Florence and saw the Ponte Vecchio, Duomo & Baptistry and Santa Croce.
