Light and blueberries

I love the way the light catches and reflects the patterns in this bowl. The bowl was hand made and painted on Santorini which is where I purchased it this summer.

Wild blueberries! I finally managed to get some while out doing errands this morning. I will freeze most of them and enjoy blueberry pancakes this winter!

Stratford

I had a wonderful weekend in Stratford over Labour Day. A friend and I drove down and saw "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" and "Macbeth" both were well done and I enjoyed them both. Sunday we wandered around the fairly deserted downtown and then meandered through the countryside on our way back to North Bay. Gorgeous weather! (for a change this summer.)

European Magnets

Growing Lettuce

My friend is growing lettuce. I was over for dinner and to get 1/2 of our first lot from the CSA (Community Shared Agriculture) Farm that we are trying out this year. We got lettuce, cabbage and rhubarb!
