Finished!

The placemats are finally done! Of course the last one was a bugger. The binding wouldn't behave and I had to resort to taking some of it apart and resewing it. I am really happy with the way they turned out. On to the next project, I have a couple of tops pieced already that I need to dig out and finish.

Sunset!

FOG!

Today has been foggy! This is a good sign because it means that it is warming up here. I also heard reports of a robin being seen today!

The Last Snow Fall?

It's snowing! I'm hoping that this will be the last snowfall (one word or two? anybody?) But, I have a feeling that it is too early to say that. It's right at freezing at the moment. The high is supposed to be 4 - I think that we reached that earlier this morning.

Black Death in the Library

What a fun time of year with lots of books and other things arriving in the Library. We already have Black Death but now we have a whole box more of microbes, such as: house fly, lyme disease, red blood cell, white blood cell, heart worm, etc. See the company's website for more information http://www.giantmicrobes.com/

Our skelton arrived!

The skelton that was ordered for the Library arrived! He came in a box and we had put put him together. It was very exciting! Though no one seemed to be as excited as I was.

Salt and Pepper

These are my salt and pepper shakers! Could you possibly have better? It was cold today, I was not prepared for it to be -20 Celsius in March, -30 with the windchill. Tomorrow is supposed to be above freezing.

Dishcloth

This is a dishcloth I crocheted. I really like the colours of this yarn!

A sunny day!

This is not today, which is rather gray, but earlier in the week. The snow is starting to melt.

One finished

Well, here's the finished baby blanket I was working on. I ran out of yarn, so I added a different colour on the ends. I'm not entirely convinced that I like it, but I'm sure I can find someone to give it to.

Productive Weekend!

I had a productive weekend. I finished the tops for all the placemats that I am making. The second class is next week where we will finish them up.

A Year in the Death of Eddie Jester

I went to see this play last night. It was quite funny and fairly well done.

Leftover Yarn

I think that I like this better than the cake plate maybe because I don't have enough of the same kind of leftover yarn.
