Where I finally manage to get some quilting done

A finished quilt been in the works for a while, I really need to do more quilting.

Even having to spend 20+ minutes chipping my car out, it is beautiful out.

Needle Art

I have been collection knitting needles for a while now.  I sort of knew what I wanted to do and couldn't quite figure out how to do it.  This weekend, I finally got around to experimenting.

Initially, I thought this might do better in a round container and be more symmetrical but I decided that I actually like it in the square and it being more irregular.  In some ways it is best viewed from above.  

This is not quite finished but I do like the direction it is heading in.  At one point I considered adding some weaving through the needles but for the moment I prefer it this way.
