Flowers

It's coming! The grass has a green tinge to it, the trees have buds, the temperature is warming. It is supposed to rain the next few days. I am really hoping for some leaves to come out and flowers to start blooming!

Yarn!

When I was in Windsor over Easter Kirstie and I managed to get to some yarn stores. Here waas the yarn that I got - yarn shopping is fun! Now I have enough for several projects.

Book Club

I had my book club tonight. This is a very interesting book, I really recommend it. It is finally warm out today - it looks like we are in for a nice weekend, above normal temperatures.

Easter Table

This is the table set for Easter dinner from two weekends ago. (Don't look to close, I used regular cutlery not the good silver.) I realize that this is out of date but a week away leaves a lot of catching up to do.

There was some really interesting light, so I got out to take some pictures. I then got caught up in the storm - see the picture from the other day!

Trip to Windsor

I will post the pictures I took of the lake tomorrow. I thought that I would show you how dirty my car got on the way down - actually this is only half way down. It was much dirtier by the time I got to Windsor. Below is a random shot of the road. It was an okay drive, some snow and lots of stuff being thrown up on the windshield. I had to buy more washer fluid.

This is what I woke up to this morning - not nearly as bad as I was expecting! The forecast was for 2-5 cm, but we only got a dusting. It flurried on and off all day, but nothing stayed and most of what was on the ground melted.
This is the picture that I took yesterday. I was on my way to see "Away from Her" a new movie by Sarah Polley, who came up to visit and did a Q&A after the movie. I stopped by the waterfront and took some cool shots of the lake and the remaining ice on the lake. I'll post them over the weekend.
