What Book are You?

The first result:

You're Jurassic Park!

by Michael Crichton

You combine all the elements of a mad scientist, a brash philosopher,
a humble researcher, and a money-hungry attracter of tourists. With all these features,
you could build something monumental or get chased around by your own demons. Probably
both, in fact. A movie based on your life would make millions, and spawn at least two
sequels thatwouldn't be very good. Be very careful around islands.

And the second time I took the quiz and changed one of my answers at the point where I couldn't decide which way to go:

You're Compassion Fatigue!

by Susan Moeller

You used to care, but now it's just getting too difficult. You cared
about the plight of people in lands near and far, but now the media has bombarded you
with images of suffering to the point that you just don't have the energy to go on.
You've become cold and heartless, as though you'd lived in New York City for a year or
so. But you stand as a serious example to all others that they should turn off their TV
sets and start caring again.

Frozen Lake

The snow is melting. This is Lake Nipissing. You can see that the Lake is still covered. In this picture you can see the tire/snowmobile marks from when it was safe to drive out on to the Lake. Ice huts had to be taken off by the end of last month. The Lake is probably still safe to walk on but I didn't try.

Love to Frannie

This is the first cross-stitch that I ever made. My second Mom, Frannie gave it to me and showed me how to cross-stitch. It was the real start of my crafting life. It is now framed and hanging in my parents condo and I have done many cross-stitches since then. Frannie’s son Patrick and I were born 2 days apart and our mothers were together much of the time they were pregnant with us which is part of the reason that I consider her my second Mom. She is also a Librarian, a profession I now share with her. Frannie’s beloved brother Bob passed away unexpectedly yesterday. She is devastated and I am sending all my thoughts and love to her.

Nephew Visiting

I was visiting family last week and got to spend 2 days with my nephew! He is lots of fun and about ready to crawl/walk and will then require lots of watching. In the meantime he is enjoying his books and blocks.
