Third Project Picture
This was from my productive weekend a few weeks ago. It was a present which has been happily received so I am finally putting the picture of it. I made it a little wrong but you can't really tell, sort of, the mistake is on the inside. I really like it and am ready to make one for myself.

Third Project Done!
I finished the binding on my third project of the weekend! Just a small little quilt. It is not quite a metre by a metre. I really like the way this turned out, despite a disastrous start to the project. I took some advice and prewashed the fabric. However since it was a charm pack quilt then it threw all the measurements off. I machine quilted it as well which I think was the best thing for this quilt. I am going to have to figure out when to machine quilt and when not to.

Two, almost 3 projects finished!
I had a productive weekend and got almost 3 projects finished. I will hopefully finish the other one tomorrow and then post it. I needed to give my wrists a rest. This is the Eight-Pocket Two-Tone Carryall Tot by Lion Brand Yarn. I am pretty happy with the way that it turned out. It is not as stiff as it looks in the picture but I think that it will be a useful size and I am looking forward to trying it out. If I do another one, I will attach the handles differently. The other project is a gift so I'll post on it once I have given it.

Is there such a thing as too many projects?
Note: The title of the post is only answerable by other crafters - for the non-crafters it is purely a rhetorical question.
Having come back from the yarn sale with a lot of yarn and many new projects, I thought it was time to take stock of the projects that are now in some stage of preparedness in my flat. I was also inspired by Ravelry which helps with this but is limited by not including quilting projects as part of it. Not on here are the 2 pieces of Monk's cloth that I have which I haven't decided what to do with and all the scraps my Mother gave me at Christmas for which I have lots of ideas but am trying to get some of these done before I start something totally new (oh yeah, ahem, and all the cross stitch and one candlewicking projects that I have as well.) Top of my priority list is finishing the hand quilting on my first full size quilt - I am almost 2/5ths done. In that spirit, I am going to work on a bag that I am crocheting for the rest of the day. And wonder where on earth I am supposed to find the time to sit down and write a couple of articles for work so that I can advance my career.
