My friend is growing lettuce. I was over for dinner and to get 1/2 of our first lot from the CSA (Community Shared Agriculture) Farm that we are trying out this year. We got lettuce, cabbage and rhubarb!
If we do the CSA thing again next year, I don't think I'll plant lettuce. With all we've gotten from the CSA, I haven't bothered to harvest my own lovely leafy greens. Ah well, it can always feed my new & nearly empty composter.
