Eclaireurs

This was some of the best advice that we got - to join the Eclaireurs not the Scouts or Guides.  Of course it took us a while when they showed up at our door telling us that they were the scoots what they were there for.  Andrew and I went almost every weekend for a hike around Dijon.  We also went camping, cross-country skiing in the Alps and attended their 2nd national gathering in Paris.  They were a great group and we had lots of fun.  They definitely had different safety standards than we had been used to it.
