Scenes from around Beaune where we visited the famous Hospices de Beaune which has one of the best roofs showing the famous roofs that Bourgogne is known for. We also visited the Chateau Clos de Vougeot.
The Kellers stayed in a small hotel, located on a side street near the center of the city. Later John and Rezan stayed in the same hotel in the same room! The day in Beune was wonderful. We went into the old hospital. In Chateau C;ps de Vogeot we saw the dining room set for a banquet. There were many wine glasses at each place. Andrew was fascinated by the table setting. We were told that this is where famous people who visit France are wined and dined including the first astronauts and visiting dignitaries.
