Another weekend in Bourgogne another beautiful place to visit, this time Chateauneuf en Auxois.

This October vacation was one of many weeks off during the school year. After a few days in Paris we went to Chartres to see the Cathedral because Wilf had written his doctoral dissertation on John of Salisbury who lived in Chartres. I tripped on a tree root behind the Cathedral and landed on my tail bone which took months to heal. We had a pizza dinner in Chartres and Wilf remembers it well because he had "a la campagne" which meant that it was cooked with an egg in the middle. He loved it!
