Good question - and I have nothing in my Journal to help with the answer. I am wondering if it was one of Hitler's Bunkers? I know we stopped very briefly at one but then moved on because it was too creepy and sad. I had a quick look for images online but nothing looks similar. We were in German from November 10-12...mostly Freiburg and Villingen. We were also in Strasbourg on November 12, 19 and 20.

It is an old fort and was used in WW I or WWII.
