Conrad and Lois Dipple and their daughter, Tamsen, were spending a year in Sheffield. We visited them for a few hours. Lois had prepared a wonderful soup for lunch. Tamsen spoke English with the local accent which was quite charming. They were living in a small row house on the corner of the street. Conrad was the Minister of a large Unitarian Church. The Church building was large but there was a very small congregation. Lois was working in the Psychology Department at the University of Sheffield. She was trying to work towards a Ph.D. with a Professor she had met in Saskatoon a year or two before.
