Naturally, we also got cards for the Public Library:

A small public library was near our building and we were able to get cards. One time when we were there we heard a woman talking in English to her little boy. I spoke to her and we formed an acquaintance. She was from Delaware originally but had spent her Junior year in France when in College and never looked back. She told me that when you live in France "you become French." She told me that French women are suspicious of other women having designs on their husbands so their friends are usually from school or are related in some way. Wilf got a history of France in French and was able to read his way through it although it took some time.
